My Perfect You

My Perfect You is 2018 Romantic Comedy Starring Pia Wurtzbach, Gerald Anderson, Tonton Gutierrez, Dimples Romano, Wilma Doesn’t and Janus Del Prado. Written and Directed by Cathy - Garcia Molina and Produce under Star Cinema. It premiered on March 14, 2018.

The film tells the story of Burn (Gerald Anderson) who lives a seemingly perfect life. After a failed proposal to his girlfriend, Burn’s work performance deteriorated leading to him getting fired. He drives to an unknown location and gets in to an accident which leads him to a resort owned and managed by Abi (Pia Wurtzbach). At first burn is annoyed with Abi’s over optimistic attitude but soon adopts to it which leads to them to slowly fall in love. As burn gets a second chance to fall in love, will it work out or will it lead to another heartbreak.

This movies serves as Pia Wurtzbach’s acting debut after years. In the trailer Pia has showed us not only her charisma but her wit and acting skills as well. Despite being out of the acting limelight for years and despite the trailer has only given us glimpses of Pia’s acting chops, its enough for all of us to be curious enough of what Pia might offer us. The trailer was short but it gave us enough laugh and nod to both of her dramatic and comedic lines.

Gerald Anderson on the other hand has been long known as a sought after leading man in Philippine cinema. So being Pia’s first leading man was a good head start. This is also one of Cathy Garcia Molina’s last few movies before a short directing hiatus and for her to offer another romantic comedy with Ms. Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and magnetic Gerald Anderson to lead is sure worth watching. Make sure to be in cinemas near you to catch this one of kind movie.

On The Job

We’ve been watching movies which are romantic-comedies in genre, comedy, drama, pure romantic these past few months. Now let us embrace a new version and a heart-pumping unique masterpiece movie of a good director, Erik Matti entitled ‘On the Job’ starring ABS-CBN’s bests and most loved leading men Gerald Anderson and Piolo Pascual. On the Job will be shown on the later part of 2013 in cooperation with the Star Cinema. On the Job is an exciting crime drama film that will make us love action movies. Gerald Anderson will portray as an escaped violent prisoner and to stop him, Piolo Pascual will be playing as an NBI agent, struggling from choosing between his duty, family and conscience. The wife of Piolo will be in the person of Shaina Magdayao, daughter of a Congressman.

On the Job is something new to us, something dynamic. The main actors are very proud of this ‘On the Job’ because they believe that this movie will be marked. On the Job is different from the other movies shown in theaters. Both were obviously happy that the project they just once dreamt is now on board. The scripts and scenes were really strong and heart-capturing. It is really a must watched film; it focuses more on the important things happening in our society. On the Job will also undergo first a screening to be launch abroad. Gerald Anderson and Piolo Pascual will appear so differently in the movie since that both of them will be portraying fiercer and more mature roles. Lead roles are very promising; the whole story is very uncommon. These challenging roles from On the Job really gave the two again a good chance to show how talented and well-trained they are. According to Gerald Anderson, On the Job is not just an advocacy-oriented film but really has something to show the public significance.

On the Job other movie casts includes Rayver Cruz, Joel Torre, Michael de Mesa, Angel Aquino, Empress, Vivian Velez, Leo Martinez, Joey Marquez and Shaina Magdayao, mentioned earlier playing as the wife of the NBI agent Piolo. On the Job in theaters nationwide, see you all there!~gaj
