Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow


Another official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival from Regal Films is the movie entitled “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. It reunites Maricel Soriano and Gabby Concepcion who both starred in the 80’s film of the same title which was also produced by Regal Films, however, this upcoming MMFF movie is total different according to its director Jun Lana.Also starring in “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (2011)” are Carla Abellana, Jericho Rosales, Agot Isidro, Ronaldo Valdez, Solenn Heussaff, Dennis Trillo, Paulo Avelino, Lovi Poe and introducing TV5’s Star Factor winner Eula Caballero.

A tale of love, loss and deception awaits the audiences in drama “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

Director Jun Luna explains the movie’s story saying: “It’s about what happens to a family when faced with a tragedy and how it changes each and every member and how they deal with that tragedy that befalls them.”

 “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow marks also marks the first time of Director Jun’s first time to helm a Metro Manila Film Festival entry. But he admits he feels no pressure. “Even if they pressure me, I  wont allow them to pressure me, I’ll just do my best” says Direk Jun.


After almost four months of being away from the media, Diamond star Maricel Soriano finally faces the press to promote her upcoming movie in Regal Films, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” Maricel seemed not to be comfortable with some movie press present in the pictorial of the movie “Yesterday, today and Tomorrow” last Nov. 13, at Regal Films’ Valencia Studios, Producer Mother Lily Monteverde sat beside the diamond star as support to her. Monteverde asked the press to avoid mentioning about the controversial issue about the maid abuse allegations against the actress.
