Shake Rattle & Roll XV

It is the longest running horror anthology film series in the country. Since 1984 the film series never loses its touch to create several horror stories. This year “Shake Rattle & Roll” will march through cinemas on the 25th of December as one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2014.Shake Rattle and Roll will be on their 15th installment this year and is said to be the most expensive installment in the “Shake Rattle& Roll” film series. It is produced by Regal Entertainment, Inc.. Starring on the film are Dennis Trillo, Lovi Poe, JC de Vera, Carla Abellana, Erich Gonzales, and Matteo Guidicelli. The Movie is directed by Dondon Santos ( Ahas), Jerold Tarog (Ulam), Percival M. Intalan (Flight 666).

The film series is expected to have three different episodes in the movie. In this year’s installment the three horror episodes are entitled Ahas, Ulam, and Flight 666 respectively. On the first episode, Ahas, the story is about a mythical twin snake on a shopping mall that victimizes shoppers on the mall. This episode will be starred by Erich Gonzales, JC De Verra, Ariel Rivera, John Lapus, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Gee Canlas, and Alice Dixon. The next picture is about a family that is being fed by their maid that soon turns them into monsters. It is starred by Dennis Trillo, Carla Abellana, John Lapus, and Chanda Romero. The last episode is plotted in a plane that is being hijacked. In the middle of the situation, a passenger gave birth to a tiyanak ( a mythical monstrous creature) and attacks all the passenger of the airplane. It will be starred by Lovi Poe, Matteo Guidicelli, Daniel Matsunaga, John Lapus, Kim Atienza, Bernard Palanca, Khalil Ramos, Yael Yuzon, Kiray Celis, Bentong, Nathalie Hart, IC Mendoza, and Betong Sumaya. Moron 5.2: The Transformation

It’s a morontasic movie event of the year, as your five favorite morons are back. Yes! They are back for some laughs. Viva Films presents the sequel of the hit movie “Moron 5 and the Crying Lady” the “Moron 5.2: The Transformation”. It will be a one hell of a laughter party as the morons will showcase their senseless humor. Starring in the sequel are Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Marvin Agustin, DJ Durano, and Matteo Guidecelli. It will be directed by no other than Wenn V. Deramas.

The movie showcases the humor of the 5 friends which are naturally born as morons. Moron #1: is Albert Macapagal played by Luis Manzano. Albert comes from a rich family whose mother is workaholic. Moron #2: Isaac Estrada played by Billy Crawford. Isaac have a big family and she is the ugly duckling amongst his sibling due to he possesses a different level of knowledge. Moron #3: Aristotle Ramos played by Marvin Agustin. Aristotle lives with his auntie and Aristotle’s auntie is the one supporting him regarding his studies. Moron #4: Mozart Twister Aquino played by DJ Durano. Despite Mozart’s thinking ability, Mozart’s parents are just cool with it. Michael Angelo Ramos played by Matteo Guidecelli. Originally from the previous movie Mart Escudero is the one playing Michael Angelo due to the story of the movie which Michael Angelo gets his face burnt and undergoes surgery, Mart is replaced by Matteo after the surgery. Somebody To Love

It is a movie that will be starred by gorgeous actresses from the two biggest TV networks of the country. It is another collaboration of actors and actresses from the two rival networks, ABS-CBN and GMA, and is hoping that it will catch the attention of the viewers.” Somebody to Love” will be composed by many main characters that will portray the different approach of diverse people in finding their love. The film is produced by the Regal Entertainment Inc. Joining Iza Calzado, Carla Abellana, Matteo Guidicelli, Jayson Abalos, Isabelle Daza, Maricar Reyes, Ella Cruz, Kiray Celis, and Albie Casiño are Alex Castro, Nathalie Hart, Beauty Gonzalez, Manuel Chua and Cai Cortez.

It is a story of different people with different lives that have one thing in common and that is to find somebody to love. First of the characters is Marga Castro (Iza Calzado), a crazy TV host who has an attitude problem and who always has a gimmick to boost his career and to stay in the limelight. Second is Sabrina Mandrilejos (Carla Abellana), a normal and simple office girl who has a best friend, Nicco (Jason Abalos) that is in love with her but another guy from her office, Tristan Vilarama(Matteo Guidicelli), is flirting with her. Tristan is a good looking guy who is sleeping with Valeria Schulmann (Isabelle Daza) whom he loves but Valeria rejected his love so that’s why he turned to Sabrina. Meanwhile Nicco is finding it hard to tell his best friend Sabrina that he’s in love with her. Then there’s Sophie who cannot bare a child and is in the midst of a sinking marriage but she is still trying to save it. Next is Amelie (Ella Cruz), who is young and in love and doubts the fidelity of her gym instructor boyfriend, Jason (Albie Casiño) .Lastly is the story of Chloe (Kiray Celis) who is attracted to a gay man and hoping that there will be a sudden change of heart and the gay guy will be attracted to her. Will they find what they are looking for? In a world which is full of friends and strangers; where everyone has a story; where everyone has a secret; where everyone wants somebody; where everyone needs somebody and where everyone just needs somebody to love. It is written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes and it will hit in theaters nationwide on August 20, 2014.
