Starring this generations teen king and teen queen, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. On their fifth movie team-up and their first ever book-based movie. On their prescon last july 4, 2014 Kathryn quoted that this will be the biggest and the most serious movie that she and Daniel made. She also said that they prepared so much for this film. It would probably be the most mature movie role that they made.

The main character on the movie is Athena Dizon (Kathryn Bernardo) and Kenji delos Reyes ( Daniel Padilla) Athena is a typical highschool girl who one day clashed on Kenji delos Reyes, the bad boy of the school , the gangster. Athena then is forced to pretend as Kenji's girlfriend to make Kenji's ex-girlfriend, Athena Abigail (Sofia Andres), jealous. So whenever Abigail is around they made it too obvious that their sweet to each other like they're holding hands, wearing couple shirts and some . gestures but if Abigail isn't around they are like the opposite of what they pretend to be. Until such time that there pretentious scheme became not so pretentious, things got complicated when their feelings got so involved. Will they pursue their feelings for each other? Will they have a happy ending or will Kenji go back to Abigail? Will they find their one great love at each other? Or will their love stand a chance in the test of time?
