Sin Island doesn’t offer the usual cat fight between the wife and mistress. It also doesn’t offer the usual romance. This one is much more steamy, scandalous, thrilling and dangerous. Sin Island is the perfect movie for couples this valentines as it talks about love, second chances as well as to fight for your place in ones relationship.

Extra Service

Extra service, action-comedy film this 2017 starring Arci Munoz, Coleen Garcia and Jessy Mendiola. Directed by Chris Martinez and produced by Skylight Films and Star Cinema.

A demure massage therapist by day, Aw (Arci Munoz), Em (Coleen Garcia) and Gee (Jessy Mendiola) and a secret agent by night. These sexy heroes were given a great mission in exchange of their freedom from being agents. Partaking the journey in retrieving the precious 'Perlas ng Silangan' the three ladies encountered trials along the way in their mission as well in their love affairs.

It's a movie without any impact on the viewers and just focuses on the three main characters flaunting their sexiness. A need for improvement, because there's more than the story if they could had dug deeper. On the bright side, the punchlines are plain funny and makes you giggle somehow. Other reviews such in Rappler, Francis Joseph Cruz quoted "Everything is just half-baked."

Love Me Tomorrow

Love defies all, including age gaps – this is what Star Cinema’s newest blockbuster offering, “Love Me Tomorrow” has to say. This is something unusual since what most Filipinos got used to are romantic stories between a man and a woman of the same or almost the same age. How will you handle the situation wherein you are torn between the love of a much younger lady and a much younger woman? It’s up for you to find out when this exciting romantic film hits the big screens on May 25, 2016.

Piolo Pascual, who just had a tremendous success internationally with the 8-hour drama film “Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis”, portrays the character of JC, a free-willed disc jockey. JC will be caught in a love triangle with a young socialite, Janine, played by Coleen Garcia, and a married fashion designer, Cristy, played by Dawn Zulueta. Nothing but intense and heartfelt dramatic scenes blended with realistic romance among these actors will be seen in this exceptional 2016 film of Star Cinema. Directed by the reputable director, Gino M. Santos, “Love Me Tomorrow” is indeed something to watch out for, especially for all hopeless romantics and fans of dramatic and romantic movies.

There are a lot of questions and unexpected twists to anticipate for within the movie’s plot. Although many people say and believe that age doesn’t matter when it comes to love, it can’t be denied that there are still criticisms people can throw at a man who’s into a romantic relationship with a much older woman. But once you get to see this movie, you may get another perspective about what true love really means. “Love Me Tomorrow” is generally a sugar-coated reflection and artistic portrayal of what the society appears to be when it comes to issues between love and age.

Ex With Benefits

This movie definitely has something new to offer to all movie goers, especially those who are into a romantic drama story with some “SPG” scenes. One thing to watch out for is Coleen Garcia’s first ever portrayal of a lead (and a more mature) character in a mainstream movie. It’s undeniable that many viewers of ABS-CBN’s currently airing drama series, “Pasion de Amor”, are amazed by the It’s Showtime co-host’s excellent drama performance, knowing the fact that she’s just a neophyte in this specific stage of show business. How much more that she will be seen in a few highly anticipated intense “SPG” scenes with the hunk dramatic actor, Derek Ramsay (who can be considered a veteran in this movie genre)?

The movie is basically about the story of ex-lovers Adam (played by Ramsay) and Arkisha (played by Garcia) whose respective roads unexpectedly intertwine again several years after their tragic break up. This is actually an adaptation of Ruth Mendoza’s (youramnesiagirl) famous Wattpad entry of the same title. Speaking of Wattpad, this is Star Cinema’s another offering not just to fans of romantic drama, but also to all solid Wattpaders who have read the book version already and are eager to witness this story come to life in the big screen. Will this movie break (or even match) the tremendous success of the previously released Wattpad-based movies like “Diary Ng Panget”, “Talk Back And You’re Dead”, “She’s Dating The Gangster”, and “Just The Way You Are”?

Another promising and versatile young actress of today, Meg Imperial, will be portraying a remarkable role in the movie as well. Her character will be completing the love triangle element of the story and will surely be bringing conflict in the love story of Adam and Arkisha. Directed by Gino M. Santos, “Ex With Benefits” also stars Tirso Cruz III, Carmi Martin, Rayver Cruz, Kitkat, Nina Ricci Alagao, Juan Rodrigo, Jobelle Salvador, and Mengge Cobarrubias. This movie will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting September 2, 2015.
