Viva Films has now release their new comedy movie offering this year entitled “Moron 5 and the Crying Lady”. The movies stars’ Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Marvin Agustin, Martin Escudero, DJ Durano and John Lapuz and is directed by Direk Wenn V. Deramas. The movie will hit the big screen on April 7, 2012 on over 100 theatres nationwide.
The movie revolves on long time friends Albert (Luis Manzano), Isaac (Billy Crawford), Mozart “Mo” (DJ Durano), Michael Angelo “Mike” (Martin Escudero) and Aristotle “Aris” (Marvin) who is presently living a moronic yet simple, hassle-free and normal life until one day, a successful career woman named Becky accused them all for killing her father and ruined everything for them. Now the 5 being sure of their innocence are also very desperate to have their freedom back. But how can they? Not even winning or finding any single argument especially when their opponent will do everything to punish them. But after spending three years of miserable life in prison and having failed attempts to get out, they finally figured a way to escape. And now they’re trying to stalk Becky, being so much curios and trying to understand why she is fighting so hard to have them imprisoned when it’s brighter than the sun that they were just framed up. Here comes now an opportunity when Becky’s driver got fired, Albert volunteered to apply. He explored and infiltrated the residence together with his friends, they gather information on this curious family. But it seems it doesn’t make any sense at all, what is all in their mind now is Becky’s unexplained hatred to the five of them. Now the Moron 5 will try their hardest to understand know what is really going on even though some important things might be at risk.
