The most awaited blockbuster movie of the year Star Cinema presents the 10th anniversary of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz’s love team via “The Mistress,” the onscreen couple’s first-ever ‘mature film’ which is produce by the one and only Olive Lamasan.

What will you do when the only woman you love is sadly committed to a married man? JD whose role is played by the most award winning actor ( John Lloyd Cruz) who plays a martyr role in the movie. JD here who is hopelessly romantic fell in love with a girl named Sari role played by (Bea Alonzo) who is committed to a married man. Rico the benefactor whose role is played by (Ronaldo Valdez) . The wife which is played by (Hilda koronel) a women who is fighting for her marriage.
It is a matured movie because not only Bea showed a little bit of skin but she played the role of a mistress. As this movie do happen in real life. What is amazing in this movie is the role of JD who is a martyr upon accepting and loving Sari even though he knew that he was with married man. There a lot of revelations in this movie. Sari with much confusion of whom of the two she really loves. An imperfect Love Story in which there are a lot of lessons learned. How far could you go in the name of love?

Under the direction of Olivia Lamasan, "The Mistress" also stars Anita Linda, Carmi Martin, Tony Mabesa, K Brosas, Gabe Mercado, Minnie Aguilar, Nor Domingo and Clarence Delgado.
