A drama film, 2 Cool 2 Be Forgotten, directed by Petersen Vargas and written by Jason Paul Laxamana. One of the entries in Cinema One Originals Films Festival starring Khalil Ramos, Ethan Salvador and Jameson Blake, released last November 17, 2016.
2 cool 2 be forgotten is a throwback story in the late 1990's, the time after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in the province of Pampanga. Felix (Khalil), a smart, thinking that he's too cool than others which made him a loner kid in school. Until one day, a new transferee came, Magnus Synder ( Ethan Salvador) a Fil-Am student. Felix ended up tutoring the new student in school and along with him is Maxim Synder ( Jameson Blake), Magnus' brother.
Felix started to get involved with the Synder brothers and becoming friends with them. He started to join them after class and he was exposed to some aspect of vices that kinda reveal his other side. The brothers influenced Felix and made him to discover more of himself.
It is a movie where everyone can relate because we all have gone through it. The stage wherein we have our first friend and experienced all our first with that friend. Developing a certain attachment to that person, a chum relationship as we call it in psychology. The movie is nostalgic as well, all 90's kid will the 90's references in the movie. The actors are convincing, kudos to Khalil, he really portrayed the character very well. I recommend this movie, 2 cool 2 be forgotten for all movie goers out there.
