A romantic film starring Ella Cruz, Julian Trono and Yam Concepcion, FangirlFanboy is directed by Barry Gonzalez under Viva Films productions and written by Bela Padilla and Neil Arce. Released last September 6, 2017 in cinemas nationwide.
The story is about Ollie Francisco (Julian Trono), who aspires to be a famous actor and decided to audition for a lead role in a Filipino adaptation of a Korean drama called Program for Love. His role is a wealthy bachelor that falls in love with his robot servant. During his audition he meets Aimee (Ella Cruz), a talented voice dub of SooMi Young (Yam Concepcion) and an avid fan of Ollie. Turn out that she can make him improve his acting performance she became Ollie’s personal coach. Thus the start of their journey in the entertainment industry.
The tandem of Ella and Julian catches the attention of the millennial teenagers. Suited for the ole their playing and a little bit interesting in the beginning and the ending is cute and typical. The film takes a peek in the entertainment industry behind the scenes.it is entertaining and adorable. From Ella’s wardrobe to the kilig moments of Julina and Ella. A must watch for those who prefer a light romantic movie.
