Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes is a 2018 Comedy Drama, Starring Judy Ann Santos, Angelica Panganiban, Joross Gamboa and JC De Vera, Gladys Reyes and Andrea Brillantes. The film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and is Produced under Star Cinema, Quantum Films and IdeaFirst Company. The Film premiered on January 17, 2018.

The film centers around the lives of Lianne Reyes (Judy Ann Santos) and Cindy Reyes (Angelica Panganiban) both devoted wives to their husbands, Gary Reyes (Joross Gamboa) and Felix Reyes (JC De Vera) respectively. Both men turns out to be gay and are in a relationship with each other which is the reason why both of them left their wives. When the two Mrs. Reyes finds out about this, both women decided that their ex-husbands must pay the price for cheating and lying to them. Thus both women decided they must ruin every bit of happiness their ex-husbands has.

The Film is considered as an opening salvo for 2018. This is the first movie where Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban will work together. This is the 2nd movie where Panganiban and De Vera has worked togtehr since their last movie; White Lady (2006) which they also played opposite each other. This is also the reunion film of Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes after years, both of which were regarded as the infamous Mara and Clara respectively. However the two play as friends in the movie.

This movie is also anticipated due to the fact that it is directed by the same director of Die Beautiful. Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban both acclaimed actresses are guaranteed to give us a good laugh and a heartfelt dramatic scenes. This is a must watch for movie goers alike as you will laugh, cry and enjoy.

The Unmarried Wife

Star Cinema yet again produces a quality film about marriage, love, and infidelity. The “Unmarried Wife” is a romantic drama film directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes. It will be starred by Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes, and Paulo Avelino. It tags as the reunion movie project of Dindong Dantes and Angelica Panganiban. The two worked together on the 2012’s box-office film “One More Try” with Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo. As for Paulo Avelino, it is his first time to work with both actors. With these three famous actors, I’m sure fans and viewers are excited for the movie.

“Unmarried Wife” is about Anne (Angelica Panganiban) who struggles for her marriage because of his cheating husband Geoff (Dingdong Dantes). She struggles between forgiving him and moving on, torn between holding on and letting go. In the midst of her grief, Anne met Bryan (Paulo Avelino), a handsome lad that was first attracted to her and then eventually fell in love with her. The movie has a realistic storyline. During the media launch, the stars repeatedly said that even though the movie involves a married couple, the flows of events in the film is very relatable for couples not only married but couples that are in a relationship. The director added that the movie also involves marriage, family, annulment, and separation. Let’s see where these characters would take, on what they believe would be the right decision for themselves. The “Unmarried Wife” will be in theaters this November 16, 2016.

That Thing Called Tadhana

Coming from their success in the 2014 Cinema One Originals Film Festival, the romantic-comedy film “That Thing Called Tadhana” will be distributed by Star Cinema on the big screen this February. As the top grossing film and the audience choice winner in the said film festival, this wonderful movie totally deserves to be shared and be shown in a greater audience. Starring are JM de Guzman and Angelica Panganiban who showed a remarkable chemistry in the movie. The creative team of this film is the same creative team behind the acclaimed Metro Manila Film Festival entry”English Only Please”. “That Thing Called Tadhana” is directed by Antoinette Jadaone who have also wrote and directed several romantic-comedy films.

The movie is labeled as “The Ultimate Hugot Film of 2015” (Hugot: drawing out; pulled out) because of its hugot lines which can make viewers relate to the film. “That Thing Called Tadhana” is a film about a girl that just came out from a bad break-up. The broken-hearted Mace (Angelica Panganiban) went home from Rome but before she stepped into the plane, she had to leave some of her things because it was too many. But instead she met Anthony (JM de Guzman), a kind fellow citizen who offered to carry Mace’s excess baggage. Little do they know that the excess baggage that they are bringing is not just only a physical thing but will be more of a personal and emotional deal. We all get hurt in love but then we always choose to love because love is the greatest feeling in the world. Will they find love in each other? Are they willing to carry each other’s excess baggage? Skylight Films and Quantum Films introduce a movie that feels good to be beautiful and that is flawless in humor, starring Angeline Quinto, Assunta De Rossi, and Angelica Panganiban in “Beauty in a Bottle” in the direction of Direct Antoinette Jadaone. It will be in theaters nationwide on October 29, 2014.

The movie tells a story about three completely different girls that are connected to the Beauty in a Bottle product that is anti-aging, whitening, and all that makes you beautiful. Judith (Angeline Quinto)who works hard to be a sassy girl to cover her insecurities. Despite of Judith not having confidence regarding on her beauty, she still have a very handsome and hot boy friend which is played by Tom Rodriguez. Vilma (Assunta De Rossi), is a senior creative director of an advertising company who’s is very professional. She is considered as one of the best in the advertising world. Until one day, she got threatened when a new and younger employee app
eared in the picture and got more insecure on her age. Since then, she did crazy things to deserve the position. Estelle (Angelica Panganiban), is an actress/model who is insecure on her weight. Estelle struggles to be a well known actress/model regarding on her weight yet she never gives up and continues to try on auditions. One More Try is an upcoming movie combining romance and drama genre to impress and inspire the excited screaming crowd. One More try directed by Ruel S. Bayani under Star Cinema and Viva film productions to be release on the 25th of December, 2012. One More Try is an official entry for Metro Manila film Festival (MMFF 2012) starring today’s bests and in-demand artists Miss Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes, Zanjoe Marudo and Miss Angel Locsin.
