Mano Po 7: Tsinoy

Another melodrama movie from Regal Entertainment, the 7th part of Mano Po franchise, starring Richard Yap, Jean Garcia, Enchong Dee. Shown in the cinemas last December 14, 2016.

The movie describes a modern Filipino-Chinese family, that despite of wealth and success, the lack of affection and love makes them fall apart. The story focus on Wilson (Richard Yap) the head of the family, strived to attain success up to the point that he prioritizes his work rather than his own family. His wife (Jean Garcia) and children (Enchong Dee and Janella Salvador) seek his attention but failed every time as they try. The absence of love from Wilson urge his wife to cheat and leaving their children heart broken. Since then, Wilson realized that in the end money, glory or fame cannot replace the love, care and joy of a complete family. The movie portrays how to love, forgive and to keep moving forward in life.

It makes us appreciate our family and to be contented of what we have. And that family will always comes first.

Once A Princess

Here’s to all Enrich fans, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales are having a comeback on the big screen. It’s been three years since the two last teamed up in a movie and now they are reunited with their new film "Once a Princess." "Once a Princess” is based on a popular book and it is the best-selling novel of Precious Hearts Romances. Compared to their last movie, Enchong and Erich are playing a more mature role so expect more of the drama. The movie is revolving on three persons who are challenged by life and love. The film is co-produced by Skylight and Regal Films and is directed by no other than Laurice Guillen. Joining the cast are Matt Evans, Nikki Valdez, Bryan Santos, Tippy Dos Santos, Angel Aquino, Bing Pimentel, Ian Veneracion, Ramon Christopher and Eda Nolan.

"Once a Princess" centers on the most popular girl in the school who is living a life like of a princess and that girl is named Erin Almeda (Erich Gonzales). Erin has it all, the fame, the looks, the friends, and the money. On their high school days Erin played with the innocent heart of their school geek, Leonard Jamieson (Enchong Dee). After she got to know him, Erin starts to fall in love with Leonard but she ended their relationship before her feelings got involved. Years after, the princess who once had it all has nothing left. The company of Erin’s father suffered from bankruptcy since then her lifestyle shifted down. Erin turned out to be married with Damian (JC de Vera). Subsequently Erin and Leonard's paths crossed and at that time Leonard is already rich because he became a successful scientist while Erin is suffering from a low-life-lifestyle. Afterwards, things got complicated and their life starts to be difficult. Then Erin realizes that she is married to the man that she doesn't love. What will happen next? Tuhog

Have you heard about ‘Tuhog’? Funny isn’t it? Well, Tuhog is just one of the most-talked-about thingy these days. Tuhog is a 2013 Filipino comedy film directed by Veronica Velasco. Tuhog, Skylight Films’ second movie produced this year 2013 starred by ABS CBN’s unfading stars Eugene Domingo, Leo Martinez, Enchong Dee, Empress Schuck and Jake Cuenca distributed by Star Cinema. For everybody’s information, Tuhog was one of 2012 MMFF film entry, however failed to pass the screening. And now, Tuhog will conquer the big screen this coming July 17, 2013 in all theaters nationwide.

Miss Eugene Domingo plays the role of a middle-aged woman named Fiesta. She is bus barker of a Janus Express and a dedicated daughter of Carding. She will fall in love with Nato (Jake Cuenca), a newly hired driver of the Janus Express. Their relationship will eventually become complicated. Enchong Dee plays the role of Caloy, a young pretty man who is preserving his purity together with his girlfriend Angel (Empress Shuck). They both promised to give it up only for each other. However, things got worse when Caloy was disputed with his decisions. Doubts and weariness lived in Angel’s mind (Empress Shuck). While Leo Martinez is retired family patriarch named Tonio. Fiesta, Tonio, and Caloy were all involved in a bus accident that made them quite miserable. Watch out for the funny and new things that they will show us.

Four Sisters and A Wedding

Four Sisters and A Wedding is an upcoming obra-maestra of the veteran director Cathy Garcia-Molina conquering the big screen this coming June 26, 2013. Four Sisters and A Wedding is brought to us by Star Cinema as the 1st movie offering as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Four Sisters and A Wedding is a Filipino romantic movie mixed with comedy starring ABS CBN’s big stars Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao and the super cutie Enchong Dee. This film talks more about the relationships in the family, a story of the siblings who tightly grown together and fell apart and also about unconditional love.

Angel Locsin plays as Alex Salazar, Bea Alonzo as Bobbie Salazar, Toni Gonzaga as Teddie Salazar, Shaina Magdayao as Gabbie Salazar and Enchong Dee as CJ Salazar. Connie Reyes is one of the supporting casts of the film and watch out for others. The story goes after a long time of not being together, the Salazar siblings were reunited when CJ (played by Enchong Dee) revealed his plan to his siblings about marrying his girlfriend for only three months long. It has been a long time since they were apart. It took them a lot of time to agree talking about it.

The Strangers

The Strangers is one the official entry for 2012’s MMFF directed by Lawrence Fajardo starring Ms Julia Montes, Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil and JM De Guzman. The Strangers is a new-flavored horrifying 2012 movie that will make you hundred percent shiver. This film was produced by MJM Productions and Quantum Films and will be distributed by Star Cinema in the 25th of December, 2012.

The story of The Strangers focuses on a family of five who had an out-of-town trip to the town of Murcia. They were disturbed by the Aswangs of the town, especially Dolfo. And they need to face these supernatural creatures badly. Dolfo (Enchong Dee) is an aswang Killer who will become the protector and at the same time will fall in love with Patricia (Julia Montes). Patricia (Julia Montes) is the twin sister of Max, has an issue about her family yet still there to protect them and give comfort. Enrique Gil as Max, twin brother of Patricia (Julia Montes), who’s also there brave and very much willing to do anything just to take his family away from danger.

The Strangers is one of the most interesting film entries in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival since the story is unusual and the teen main casts and others are really doing good and enjoying a lot with their project. Very promising!

The Strangers’ other casts includes Johnny Revilla as Roy and Cherry Pie Picache as Evelyn, the parents of the fraternal twins, Jaime Fabregas as Pete, twin’s grandfather, Ms Janice de Belen as Paloma, the caretaker of Pete and Nico Antonio as Toning, their driver. The Reunion

Another must watch movie to be release this year 2012 by Star Cinema is a romantic drama comedy entitled The Reunion. The film is directed by Frasco Mortiz and stars’ the most promising young actors of the generation Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Kean Cipriano and Enrique Gil.

The movie revolves around a group of young men who are friends since high school. Several years later, they decided to meet once again. They have come to know that each other has a feeling of not moving on with their lives because of a wrong did way back high school. Now, they are in the journey of finding the true meaning of love and happiness as they reunite once again.

The Reunion movie also pays free tribute to OPM music. Meanwhile the four male leads says they were very excited about the movie, particularly because this is the first time they will be working with each other. Enchong Dee is very excited to work with Kean, as it is the first time he’ll work with an OPM artist. As for Kean in the same vein, he is very honoured to work with one of the brightest stars of the kapamilya network. Asked about their expectations for this project, they said, they just want to have fun and do a movie that the people would watch out for. And for their leading lady, Kim Chui andErich Gonzales has been on the list that they were asking.  But in a way, they also wanted to make a difference.  Direk Frasco said that they have already the choosen the names of the actresses that the people would love to be paired to Xian, Enchong, Enrique and Kean. According to some reports, Julia Montez, Jessy Mendiola, and Megan Young are on the final list.
